Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Baby Café for?

A Baby Café can help your confidence to nurse your baby grow right from the start. If you are already successfully breastfeeding you can share your experiences and ask new questions that may arise as your baby reaches different developmental milestones. Each Baby Café is designed to be a welcoming space with comfortable seating where open discussions take place, no appointment is needed.  You are welcome at a Baby Café for as long as you need breastfeeding support. Some moms come regularly for coffee and to chat with other breastfeeding moms; others just come when they have a particular question or breastfeeding challenge.

What can the Baby Café do for my family?

Here you can get connected to resources to support parenting and families, while receiving breastfeeding support and meeting new people.

How does the Baby Café work?

Each Baby Café provides family-friendly breastfeeding drop-in groups at no cost. The locations are open once a week and no appointment is needed to participate.

What type of services does the Baby Cafe provide?

In addition to breastfeeding support, services include connecting you and your family to child care resources; WIC; healthcare services such as Pediatric and OB/GYN care; and community resources that support parenting, families and safe and healthy personal relationships.
